  • Product Story

Born out of the irritation when the last bit of wax gets stuck at the bottom of a candle holder, Nina Jua Klein’s handmade set consists of modular parts, allowing for a variety of sculptural configurations – and crucially to enable easy removal of wax. Each set comes with a pair of golden beeswax candles made by Candle Makers Ltd in their workshop on Mare Street.

  • Manufacturing Story

The charcoal used for Nina’s custom composite material is a by-product from charcoal production in Wakehurst, a wild botanic garden in the heart of Sussex which is connected to Kew Gardens, where ranger Steve uses ancient and sustainable practices to burn British ash. The brick dust is a waste product of London bricks reclaimed from demolished buildings, that is being cut down in a west London brick yard.
