Annie Strachan currently lives and works in South East London. Sustainable processes and techniques are central to her practice. Working with recycled materials including; wood, textiles and paper mache, Annie creates small batch and one-off functional sculptures intended for everyday use in the home.

Influenced by set design seen in post-war Hollywood cinema, opposing architectural themes including; Modernism and Postmodernism are interpreted through the creation of playful abstract form.
